Building Buzz with Big Bucks

Several noteworthy construction efforts are underway, breathing new life and potential into Greenwood County’s areas. Let’s dive into what’s building up literally and figuratively!

Anderson Family Properties is on a roll with two new residential constructions. At 120 Gunnery Ct., Ninety Six, a beautiful new home is rising with a price tag of $355,000. Not far away, another project on 122 Gunnery Ct. is set at $350,000, promising to add charm and value to the neighborhood.

The Rhodes Family is also in the spotlight with a grand new construction at 109 Tally Ho, anticipated to be a standout at $700,000. Meanwhile, Mimi and Nicholas Nelson are contributing to the area’s growth with a $305,000 project at 5570 Highway 246 S., Ninety Six.

Home Sweet Home Upgrades

While brand new homes make headlines, many existing homes are getting a touch of tender love and remodeling, ensuring they remain both functional and beautiful. James Ouzts is making visual and structural changes by demolishing mobile homes at 3904 and 3906 Harless St., hinting at future possibilities for these spots.

In the realm of enhancements, Gregory and Julie Miner have earmarked $60,000 for a luxurious 10×20 roof deck on Calhoun Road, while at 717 Puckett Ferry Road, Linda and Brandon Winchester are spending $12,000 to add to their existing house.

Additionally, the Bruckers at 516 Grand Harbor Blvd. are busy transforming two rooms and adding bathrooms at a cost of $10,000, ensuring no spot in their home remains underutilized.

Smaller Delights and Essential Upkeep

Not to be overlooked are the various humble yet critical projects around the area. The Owens have taken on a reroofing at 211 Stanley Ave. for $8,896, while the Gonzalezes are enclosing the back porch at 112 Kathwood Drive for a manageable $1,500.

Ensuring our homes remain sturdy, several properties, including 130 Old Abbeville Highway by Joseph and Kristy Miranda, have committed to new roofing projects, maintaining safety and comfort through diligent upkeep.

Every twist of a wrench and every new foundation laid not only beautifies our charming county but also brings folks together in shared anticipation of the new and improved. Here’s to our growing county, peeking above the horizon with dreams built on strong foundations!
