Lander University was buzzing with energy on Saturday as students, alumni, and faculty came together for an exciting Homecoming celebration. The annual festivities were filled with competition, laughter, and plenty of school spirit, leading up to the crowning of the 2025 Homecoming King and Queen.
Crowning the competition this year was Jonathan Walker, a senior business administration major specializing in IT management. With all the excitement in the air, you could see the joy on his face as he accepted the prestigious title of Homecoming King.
On the other side of the stage was Sophia Reyes, who was crowned as the Homecoming Queen. A dedicated sophomore from Greenwood, South Carolina, Sophia is majoring in criminology and political science, with a minor in homeland security. The memorable crowning was beautifully captured in a photo taken by Laura B. Wood.
