The graduation ceremony took place at the well-known Finis Horne Arena, an apt venue for such a momentous occasion.

Graduates hailed from every corner of South Carolina, even from further away places across the nation and around the globe. Among these new alumni were many outstanding individuals from Laurens County, representing towns such as Clinton, Gray Court, and Laurens. Each of these graduates carefully navigated their academic journeys, and their determination finally culminated on this momentous day.

Clinton Graduates Shine Bright

Clinton was in the spotlight with several graduates who are ready to make their mark on the world. Among them was Marissa Bell Baker who earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, alongside Konnor Jennings Richardson who also received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Gracie Averyanna Boyd celebrated her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, while Abigail Gracen Farmer achieved a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. A special shoutout goes to Riley Mcfall Price, who earned a Master of Business Administration, further enhancing the spirit of education in the community. Lastly, Tiffany Denise Williams also proudly displayed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration.

Gray Court’s Exceptional Alumni

Next up, Gray Court also enjoyed a noteworthy representation in the graduation lineup. The talented Vanessa Huerta-Flores obtained her Master of Education in Teaching and Learning, while Seth Elijah Tucker took home a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Other graduates from Gray Court included Jennifer Lynn Wilson, who earned her Master of Education in Teaching and Learning, and Avery Keith Wood, who also obtained a Master of Science in Management.

Laurens Graduates Step into the Future

As the ceremony unfolded, the voices of pride and accomplishment echoed from Laurens, where a number of brilliant students also received their degrees. Notable graduates included Jacob M Bridges who celebrated a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Abigail Peyton Entrekin who earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Multiple students achieved their Master of Education in Teaching and Learning, including Savannah Taylor Campbell, Brennan Boroff Davis, and Lindsey Elizabeth-Paul Dawkins. Additionally, Nancy Reynoso proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

A Beautiful Day for a Graduation

The graduation ceremony occurred on January 24, 2025, under clear, sunny skies, which made for a lovely backdrop to this celebratory event. Though the temperature was relatively crisp, reaching a high of only 47°F, it didn’t deter the spirit and enthusiasm among the graduates and their families. As the ceremony concluded, temperatures dipped to a chilly low of 22°F, but that did little to cool down the warm emotions of pride and accomplishment that filled the air.
