Dr. Rachel Schiera, the esteemed assistant professor of education at Lander University, will guide attendees through understanding how we learn to make these choices. Dr. Rachel Schiera brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Holding a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she has taught students across a range of ages, from PreK to university levels, in five different countries. She has also delivered teacher training sessions for notable organizations, including Oxford University Press and the Government of the Republic of Korea.
An active contributor to the Lander University community, Dr. Schiera has a rich history of involvement, having served as co-coordinator of the Call Me MiSTER chapter at Lander University and participating in the Fulbright Program in the U.S. Her decade-long work in curriculum development in Oman and published research focusing on teacher transformation and decision education adds immense depth to her expertise.
