Greenwood Residents Prepare for a Rainy Day While a Local Arrest Raises Eyebrows
Well, it’s not just another wet day here in Greenwood; it’s a mixture of rainy weather and a spot of intrigue! While the skies are set to unleash their watery fury, a recent arrest is causing quite the stir in the community.

In Local News: A Surprise Arrest in the Neighborhood
As if the weather wasn’t enough to keep us on our toes, we’ve also got an interesting development on the law enforcement front. On November 2, the Greenwood police were alerted by a resident whose roommate apparently went beyond the usual roommate squabbles. The resident was concerned that the roommate was not only using narcotics but also selling them, and had even failed to return his vehicle!
Armed with this information, the police obtained a search warrant for the duo’s residence at 1111 E. Cambridge Ave. What they found was quite the stash. The search unearthed 11 pills testing positive for MDMA, 0.3 grams of cocaine, 20 pills testing positive for fentanyl, 84 alprazolam pills, and 0.7 grams of methamphetamine. Quite a list, if you ask me!
Interestingly enough, the man and woman living together were not romantically involved. The man, as it turns out, was quite clear about his stance on illegal substances: he didn’t want any in his home. Once the woman returned his car, he decided not to press any breach of trust charges.
The woman, identified as Aidan Evan Ferguson, aged 25, has a history of run-ins with the law. She’s previously been convicted for possession of Schedule I and II narcotics – notably on June 8, 2022, and again on November 15, 2022.
With this recent arrest, she is now looking at charges like possession with intent to distribute within proximity of a school, and many others related to various controlled substances. It seems that she’s got quite the legal journey ahead of her.
