This award is recognized as the highest form of recognition in government accounting and financial reporting.

Earning this certificate is no small feat. The county’s annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) must undergo a thorough evaluation by an impartial panel of experts. These experts ensure the report adheres to a “spirit of full disclosure” and effectively communicates the county’s financial story.
