About the Artists

Jorge Rojas

Jorge Rojas is a seasoned muralist and educator with three decades of experience in the visual arts. Known for his large-scale murals and proficiency in depicting the human figure, Rojas earned his formal education from the National University of Colombia. Throughout his career, he has not only taught aspiring artists of all ages in Colombia but has also been commissioned to design murals for various organizations across Colombia, Brazil, the Philippines, and the United States.

Previously, Rojas owned “Colombian Cobalt Blue,” a company that specialized in custom tableware, utilitarian ceramics, and ceramic murals. Currently residing in Greenville, Rojas continues to work as a full-time commissioned muralist, bringing his artistic vision to life in various communities.

Siara Yazmin

Siara Yazmin’s journey into the world of art began with enchanting experiences during her childhood. Watching her mother and grandfather craft a Disney mural in her room fueled her passion for creating art. Her fascination with wild and fun cartoon shows and animated movies only added to her creative inspiration.

Yazmin is particularly drawn to painting and drawing faces, whether from her imagination or from real life. “There is already so much emotion there, ready to complement the right style and colors,” she explains. Additionally, she enjoys working on subjects related to animals, wildlife, and nature, aiming to tell a story through each piece she creates. For her, it is especially rewarding when viewers interpret and feel their unique stories through her artwork.
