Thousand of Pills Seized in Ongoing Investigation
Greenwood, S.C. – The Greenwood Police Department made a significant breakthrough in an ongoing investigation on July 25, when officers discovered several thousand fentanyl pills during a search operation along South Main Street.
According to the police, the raid centered on two residences suspected of illegal drug activities. During the search, authorities weren’t just looking at fentanyl. They also confiscated pill binding powder, a pill press, marijuana, cocaine, “crack” cocaine, and five firearms.
Following this major bust, three suspects were taken into custody. The first two, Cory Johnson and Tiffany Williams, faced serious charges. They were accused of trafficking fentanyl and cocaine, both standard and crack forms, in quantities over 28 grams.
