COLUMBIA, SC – With the dawn of October, South Carolina residents can anticipate more clouds than sunshine, promising a considerable dip in the temperature chart compared to recent weeks.

Forecasters predict that the mercury will remain steady at low to mid 80s throughout the week and into the impending weekend – a pleasing cool-off for the state that recently experienced higher temperatures.
