Augusta Volleyball Team Dominates Georgia College

Milledgeville, GA – On Saturday afternoon, the Augusta University volleyball team achieved a decisive victory, defeating Georgia College with a score of 3-0 in a match held at the Centennial Center. This win improves Augusta’s record to 17 wins and 5 losses overall, and they are now 4-3 in Peach Belt Conference (PBC) play.

The match began with both teams exchanging points in the first set. However, Augusta showcased their strength as they surged ahead, closing the set at 25-19. The Jaguars settled into a rhythm early, demonstrating strong teamwork and coordination.

In the second set, Augusta’s momentum continued. Jada Suguturaga was particularly instrumental, contributing 6 kills and 2 block assists. The defensive efforts led by Rylie Harris, who made 10 digs, kept Georgia College struggling to mount a consistent attack.
